PoliTong project
In 2006 the first Italian-Chinese university, that allows Italians and Chinese students to achieve a degree recognized in both countries, was launched. The Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino for Italy, together with Tongji University in Shanghai for China, have designed Bachelor of Science courses (BSc) in the areas of Information Engineering and Mechanical and Production Engineering. The initiative provides an opportunity to make an experience in China, which enables students to:

TIME Top Industrial Managers for Europe
http://www.time-association.org/
The Top Industrial Managers for Europe (T.I.M.E.) is an association of some of the most important European Schools of Engineering. The Politecnico di Milano is one of its founding members. The Association promotes bilateral agreements between its member Institutions in order to set up double degree programs. Within the T.I.M.E. Program, Engineering students are awarded both the degree of Politecnico di Milano at the level of Laurea Magistrale and the one of the partner Institution at the corresponding level. Both degrees have a legal value in the country where they are obtained. Within the T.I.M.E. Program, engineering students are allowed to substitute one year at the Politecnico di Milano, with two years abroad, in a partner institutions with which the bilateral agreement for a double degree has been stipulated. During their period abroad, students are required to face a workload of 120 ECTS, 60 of which will be recognized at the Politecnico di Milano. The Master’s thesis can consist of one project with 2 supervisors or 2 different projects. In any case, the thesis must be discussed in front of an official Committee according to the rules of each institution. From its creation, the dual degree TIME curriculum has achieved extraordinary results: more than fifteen hundred TIME students have obtained a double degree. Among them, more than four hundred, between Italian and foreign students, have a double degree with the Politecnico di Milano.
